Mi-ki's were the result of breeding several different toy breeds together in the 1980's. No one really knows for sure what was used ... the creator of the Mi-ki was very quiet about the details. But we do know that what she created is extraordinary. They are extremely endearing and gentle dogs. Individuals that are allergic to dogs often find that they have few and even no allergic reaction to Mi-ki's. As a companion they are superb. They are playful and love long walks, but are also perfectly content sitting quietly inside. They love to sun themselves and play with balls of yarn. They love other animals, particularly kittens and cats. Once you are introduced to these charming animals, you will undoubtably find yourself enchanted by them.
