About Us G'Day Everyone! My name is John Thomson and I am an Australian Citizen who has had the extreme pleasure of calling the United States home for the last 20 years. I came to the States to attend University in Boise, Idaho. After graduating, I moved to Bakersfield, California where I went to work as a 6th grade school teacher and also began working with and training horses.

Through my years of working with horses here in the States I have seen a growing need for a better all around horse. I began to yearn for a horse that was stronger... smarter... more athletic... more versatile. What I was really yearning for was the horses from home in Australia.

In July of 2002, my wife Bonnie and I began to pursue the option of importing Australian Stock Horses to the United States. We were quite honestly surprised not to be able to find an Australian Stock Horse in America, but also thrilled to be one of the first to breed this incredible breed here in the US. With the arrival of Glen Lee Rivoli Brandy in September of 2003 we began our great adventure here at Brumby's Run of breeding the world's most versatile breed of horse.

In 2005 we began to investigate a new breed of dogs called a Mi-Ki. We were immediately interested in these animated and gregarious little dogs. We looked at the different clubs and registeries and have decided to join Mi-Ki Breeders USA. We believe that this club has the most perfect representation of this rare of breed dogs. On March 7th we received from Pennsylvania, two little female Mi-Ki. We are now on a hunt for a perfect little male ... after which we should have our first litter of these charming dogs in the Spring of 2006.
